PARTICIPATION AGREEMENTThis participation agreement is mutually agreed upon by Hampton-Pinckney PorchFest (referred to as “Porchfest”) and Musician Name(Required)(referred to as “Musician,” which may be an individual performer or a group of two or more performers). Description of Event Hampton-Pinckney PorchFest will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 1:00-6:00 pm in the historic Hampton-Pinckney District near downtown Greenville. Description of Services Musician shall: Provide a live, family-friendly musical performance lasting 45 minutes on a porch and at a performance time, both of which Porchfest shall assign prior to the event. Musician will not begin performing prior to the assigned time of performance or perform later than the assigned time for ending the performance. Arrive for set up at the assigned porch location at least one hour prior to performance. Set up must not interfere with the performance of any other musician assigned to perform earlier on the same porch. Bring all equipment needed for performance including sound system/amp, extension cords, etc. PorchFest shall: Assign porch location and performance time to Musician at least 30 days prior to the event. Note, however, that both performance location and time of performance are subject to change in the sole discretion of PorchFest. Provide information regarding the specified parking area for Musician. Provide assistance for hauling Musician’s gear to and from porch performance location. Provide access to electricity on the porch assigned for Musician’s performance. Because the assigned porch may not have an electrical outlet on it, Musician must bring adequate extension cords. PorchFest will also make an extension cord available. Payment for Services Upon completion of performance in accord with this agreement, PorchFest shall compensate Musician in the amount of $400, according to Musician’s preferred method, as indicated below:Payment Choice(Required) Check Venmo Check should be made out to:Venmo handle for payment:Cancellation Hampton-Pinckney PorchFest is a “rain-or-shine” event. If for any reason Musician fails to perform according to the terms of this agreement, Musician will not be compensated. In cases involving such unforeseeable occurrences or situations such as natural disasters, community or national emergencies, extreme weather, or threats to community health, safety, or wellbeing, PorchFest, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel the event without compensation to Musician. In such a situation, PorchFest will provide Musician as much advance notice as is reasonable under the circumstances. Event Promotion PorchFest requests a musician photo and video link from Musician for use in event promotion.
